The wine cellar of Locanda Borgo Vecchio is a declaration of love for the territory. A place where wine is not just a complement, but an integral part of the gastronomic experience.

The wine selection is designed to accompany the traditional cuisine offered in the restaurant, with pairings that enhance artisanal products such as Salam ‘d Neive, the flours from our Tenuta Barone, truffles from the Langhe, and Fassona meats.

Guided tastings available on request

By reservation, it is possible to organise guided tastings to discover local wines, also paired with small gastronomic samples.

Tastings can be organised at wineries such as Cantina Francone and Cantina Bolmida, with whom Borgo Vecchio maintains an ongoing collaboration. It is also possible to book an exclusive visit to the Levi Distillery, where the historic Langhe grappa is produced.

Every tasting is designed as a story: it begins with the territory, moves through the grape varieties, and arrives at the producer’s interpretation.

Pairings designed for each dish

The staff is trained to suggest the right wine for each course. From Barbaresco to Dolcetto, including lesser-known but surprising whites and sparkling wines.

Each wine is served at the right temperature, with dedicated glasses and a short introduction upon request. Every label is selected to enhance the chef’s original recipes. Here, wine is an integral part of the experience.
